The E-Wing Escort Starfighter or E-7 E-Wing multi/role Starfighter was the first ship built under the rule of the New Republic. Like many "firsts" of its kind the E-wing's beginning run in combat revealed some serious deficiencies. As time when by however, the design was consistently improved upon. Eventually the E-wing became a more proficient fighter an even the venerable X-wing. This model has an opening cockpit with space for a minifigure. There is also a stud to fit an astromech droid head similar to it's function in the EU.
This model comes with an alternate blue version and with a black display stand.
