The MG-100 StarFortress SF-17 heavy bomber or short Resistance Bomber is basically the Star Wars equivalent of a World War II Bomber. It has plenty of features that you see on planes from the time like the top mounted turret or the front cockpit design. Its limited maneuverability and need for escort starfighters to guard it was its biggest weekness though compared to another much more versatile bomber from the Resistance, like the B-Wing or the Y-Wing. This version in particular is the vessel that destroyed one of the Star Destroyers and that Roses' sister Paige served on.
